FAQ

Disc golf (or frisbee golf) is played much the same as traditional (ball) golf. Though disc golf is played on open fairways, like ball golf, it is also played in wooded areas as well, often relying on a player's shot-shaping technique. In addition, much like ball golf has a putter, iron, woods, and drivers, disc golf is played with plastic putt & approach discs, mid-range discs, fairway drivers, and distance drivers. Other than the equipment and wooded areas, disc golf plays the same as traditional ball golf with tee pads, holes (baskets), obstacles, hazards, and OB (out-of-bounds) areas.
To play, choose from a variety of discs and attempt to get it in the basket within the number of strokes (par) for that hole. Scoring for disc golf is the same as traditional ball golf. Record the number of strokes (throws) it took to complete the hole on your scorecard.
